ZZ is a rhizome plant having its origin in drought prone areas of Africa. It has thick waxy green leaves of oval-shape that makes it look like stylized feathers. The branches grow in an elegant way of wand-like shape that starts thick and rounded at the bottom and then tapers to a point.
