Whole Foods - The Way Forward!

The more we get to know about healthy eating and nutrition, the more we think we should eat the way people did a hundred years ago!

We are pointing you to the direction of unprocessed, unrefined plant-based food with no added sugar, i.e. “WHOLE FOODS”

Researchers believe that it is best to eat whole foods to avoid diseases and to improve health – like eating vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes etc. These foods retain their nutrients that are often removed due to processing.

Whole foods are ubiquitous and easy to consume. Eat foods that are close to their natural form. This could be eating:

1) Fruits and Vegetables instead of eating supplements to get the fiber and vitamins.

2) A skinless chicken breast cooked with wholesome ingredients instead of chicken fingers with added fats, flavourings and preservatives.

3) Fresh berries like Blueberries, Raspberries or Blackberries instead of pastries or breakfast bars and many more!

Eating these single-ingredient and preservative-free fruits is the best way to maintain your health and shifting to a high quality of life. For years we’ve been told to eat fruits and vegetables. We now look at Spinach and Bitter Gourd with much more gratitude than before, as now we know how our immunities work with what we eat.

Paleo diet or food during Paleolithic times corresponds to what we exactly want to convey. Popularly known as stone-age diet, Paleo diet includes foods that in the past could be obtained by hunting and gathering. What you feed your stomach automatically affects your brain functionality, so add smart food to your diet to improve your focus.

We provide you a few of the many reasons to turn yourself to “Paleo Diet”:

  1. Loaded with important nutrients: Unprocessed plant-based foods contain vitamins and minerals necessary for your optimal health.

  2. Low in sugar: Real foods are low in sugar than many processed foods.

  3. Make your heart healthy: Packed with antioxidants and nutrients that support heart health.

  4. You’ll love your skin: Eating whole foods nourishes and protect your skin. Studies suggest that more vegetables, beans and olive oil help reduce wrinkling and other age-related skin changes.

  5. Provides variety: Eating the same foods over and over again may lead to boredom. So, it’s healthier to add variety or diverse real foods in your diet.

Filling your plate mostly with whole foods is one of the healthiest ways to eat and procure most of the important ingredients in its most natural form!

I hope after reading this you might have many reasons to switch to whole foods instead of having processed or junk foods. When you change your lifestyle with better eating habits, you may feel better overall. If you aren’t currently sticking with a whole and real food diet, then today is the day to make the change!
